Last Tuesday, Georgie was jumping on the couch, fell and landed face first on our carpet. She was a little shocked and hurt, but totally fine after about a minute. Her nose was red, but didn’t seem to be too bad at all. Then on Wednesday morning when I went to get her from her crib, her nose was covered with rug burn! My heart went out to her, but she was such a star and didn’t even notice, unless she looked in the mirror at which point she was reminded of ‘hurt nosey’ and then started to call it ‘chocolate nosey’ because of the color of the scab. Oh toddlers!!
This weekend has been a really good one. Friday night we had such a delicious dinner with friends here, then yesterday we all slept in really late and had a cozy day making yogurt cake, going for aqueduct walks and running a few local errands. Later this afternoon we have a birthday party for Georgie’s sweet friend Danny, and I can’t wait for cupcakes 🙂
Have a good one!!
A Few Things…
I’ve been wanting to plan a little girls spa getaway, and I think this might be the place.
Be still my heart – this cake has everything I love.
If you need to smile, watch this. (‘I love you, robot!’)
I usually stray from ultra-trendy things (i.e. cold shoulder tops) but really love this one.
Just started listening to this podcast. Obviously hooked already.
These pink bow slides are so sweet, and these are adorable and look SO comfortable.
Are kitchen hacks worth it? Sometimes yes and sometimes no, apparently. (That brown sugar one is genius!)
I love this little dress and bloomers for Georgie so much. I dressed her in these all the time when she was a baby, but it’s almost impossible to find them in toddler sizes!
What a pretty post – and these looks like such great jeans.
An interesting perspective: If you want to improve and succeed in your life, you need to surround yourself with people who have higher standards than you do.
I just ordered this spring dress, and can’t wait for it to arrive! And for the weather to finally cooperate!
Three ways to relax, fast.
Victoria’s digest posts are my favorite. She really knows all of the good things.
