As hard as it was to leave the beach, it has felt really nice to get back into our city groove this week. Georgie was reunited with her friends (they were actually excited to see each other, which was too sweet!), we went to her beloved music class and played at the park, and met Tom after work so we could all walk home together and soak in those hot summer evenings.
Tomorrow Tom and I celebrate our five year wedding anniversary. We are going out to dinner here which I am so excited about! Bring on the peking duck and the champagne!
Have a wonderful weekend!!
A Few Things…
Love Grace’s post about summer skin and beauty. This especially looks amazing.
A fantastic post on beach toys for little ones. I love the watermelon beach ball and the shaded pool!
Three delightful little words: Champagne ice cubes.
Re-ordered another bottle of this beauty favorite, which must be my fifth in about a year. I truly can’t live without it!
The five best non-toxic sunscreens for babies. (We use – and love – ThinkBaby.)
Love the ‘Infuse’ filtered water bottles in this post. I just ordered it and plan to fill mine with lemon slices and tons of ice cubes.
Bookmarked this page for some easy summer dinner recipes.
I don’t think a woman has ever looked so gorgeous pregnant. Those dresses!!!
Of the three sleeping positions, mine is sadly the worst for my health. (Does anyone actually enjoy sleeping on their back!?)
I was thinking about how I need to get a really quenching face mask for post-sun skin, and then this post popped up. This rose mask looks amazing, and I love the greek yogurt mask idea too.
These five ingredients (which you probably already have) will make you a better cook.
What a beautiful bag.
This is so heartbreaking and so uplifting at the same time.
The rise of the newborn baby box (added bonus: it’s baby’s first crib).
