Here are a few things I’m into these days:
Everyday Oil // I really and truly love oils. Nothing feels more indulgent in the wintertime then slathering a yummy smelling oil on your face before you go to bed, and I am always on the lookout for new ones to try. After reading about this oil on Grace’s blog (she really knows her stuff when it comes to the best, good-for-you skincare) I knew I had to have it. I’ve been using it for a weeks now as a nighttime face oil, and I’ve also been using it as a body moisturizer in the morning. It sinks right in so I can throw clothes on immediately after, plus it’s 100% organic and packed with the best ingredients – cold-pressed plant oils like coconut oil and argan oil, and essential oils like lavender and geranium. The scent took me a few days to get used to, but now I love it – it’s really calming and smells a little bit like stepping into a treatment room at an all-natural spa (do those exist!?). And despite the freezing cold temperatures and cranked up heating, my skin has never felt better.
Re-play Plates // I mentioned here that we ordered these plates (we got the flat ones), and now that they’ve arrived and we have used them for awhile, I have to write more because we love them so much. For a really long time we used the tray of Georgie’s high chair as her plate, putting her food directly on there. We had a few plates that we used every now and again, but nothing I was really into. I am now totally hooked on the Re-play plates. The colors are punchy and cute, the design is simple, they’re made from recycled materials (in the USA!) and they meet the strict purity standards of the EU (much stricter than the US). They make me happy every time I open the cabinet to use them 🙂 And we are equally in love with the bowls, utensils and snack cups. Best toddler-related purchase I’ve made in awhile!
This & this // Because that little toddler is incredible, and her mom seems super calm and lovely (aside from that first interview of course, when she frantically slid into the room like an insane person / exactly how any other mother would have :)). This story is just so good, and it keeps getting better!
