I am tidy to a fault, and nothing makes me happier than everything in the house having a specific and logical place. I have figured out how to organize Georgie’s toys and things in her room, her bathroom and our family room, but with the arrival of Rex came the arrival of so much baby stuff. The big things were all set (mostly in these bins) but I was fretting slightly over the accumulation of little things, like the small selection of toys we keep in our bedroom, or the lotions and diaper creams we keep on Rex’s changing table. Then I read about these bins in this post, and my life changed a little bit.
Life Lately
Please forgive the not so great picture above. It’s blurry, Georgie’s eyes are closed, it’s a less-than-flattering angle for Rex 😉 and I am certainly not looking my best. But there’s a good reason. About 24 hours before this picture was taken I had surgery, and about five days before that I started having terrible pains on my lower right side.
A Baby Sleep Trick
When it comes to babies, sleep is the thing. It’s usually the first question anyone asks when they learn you have a newborn or infant – ‘how is he sleeping??’ And I totally get it, because I am always curious about how other babies sleep too.
