On Saturday, we went to a Halloween party at one of the parks near our apartment to celebrate Georgina’s very first Halloween. I know I’m biased, but Georgie really did look absolutely adorable in her cotton candy costume, and I breathed a large sigh of relief when people recognized what she actually was. (For some reason, I was worried everyone would think her homemade costume was a mummy!)
Since Georgie was in the middle of her very first cold (super lucky that it coincided with daylight savings – major parenting win), we didn’t stay for too long – just long enough to spend some time on her beloved swings and chat with a few of our friends.
Georgie is now at that ultra observant and aware stage, where she gets so excited to hear Tom’s voice when he comes in the door after work during the week, and equally excited when he is around all day during the weekend. Daddy’s girl in the making 🙂
Hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween!! And thanks Georgie for letting us eat all of your hard earned trick-or-treating candy!
