Georgina is still a tiny bit young to get excited about an Easter egg hunt, and the process of gathering hidden eggs and placing them into her Easter basket was slightly over ambitious for a 13 month old, but we had a lovely day anyway! Our closest family friends came over, we had bagels and lox and mimosas and then ‘hunted’ for eggs outside.
So many times a day, I stop and look at Georgina and my heart just swells. She is such a sweet, adorable little joy and I truly can’t believe she’s mine. I want to smother her in hugs and kisses all day! She has actually started to come towards mean give me hugs, which melts me in a way that I never thought possible. I just adore her.
And here a few photos from Easter last year, when we were down the shore and Georgie was not even two months old. She was deliciously chubby – look at those cheeks and chins!! I remember going a little overboard at Target with her Easter basket, buying glitter eggs and filling them to the brim with chocolate and candy that I of course ended up eating. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Easter candy is the best candy!
