I once read that Kate Moss dunks her face into a sink full of ice cubes every morning, and it’s one of the beauty tricks she swears by. The ice cubes apparently ease wrinkles, reduce puffiness, heal blemishes and promote blood circulation, giving skin a smooth, healthy glow.
An ‘ice facial’ is a little ambitious for me (if you want to try, wrap the cubes in a paper towel first to make it a little less harsh), but I’ve been using cold water to wash my face morning and night and I have to say, it feels pretty amazing! It makes my skin feel smoother and tighter, and it gives me a nice little flush, like I’ve just been out for a brisk walk on a cool fall day. I don’t know if it’s giving me any long term benefits, but I like it!
