We had such a relaxing and fun Memorial Day weekend down the shore. The weather was perfect Friday, Saturday & Sunday, and even though yesterday was pretty much a total washout, it was nice to be cozy inside. Here are a few pics from our weekend!
On the drive down, Georgie had her chubby little foot resting on my sister in the backseat the whole time, which was so sweet to see. Georgie adores her Auntie Nicki 🙂
Our first beach trip of the season! This was Georgie’s real first time in the sand, since last time she was such a tiny little thing she really had no idea what was going on. At first she was a tiny bit confused and scared as to why her feet were getting covered in sand when we put her down, but once she realized she wasn’t going to sink, she came around to it and loved sitting in the sand and walking around the beach.
We got her this beach bag full of toys from Target, and it’s been great. Some of it won’t be that useful until she’s a bit older, but it’s adorable and everything is ideal for chewing on 😉
While Georgie loved the sand once she got the hang of it, she was a little unsure about the ocean – I think the loud sound of the waves crashing scared her a little bit, but I have a feeling she will be toddling down and trying to swim in no time. She’s pretty brave like that.
