So far this fall, we have been relying on a few staples to keep Georgie warm when we’re out and about, especially during our morning walks with Tom.
These Minnetonka sheepskin booties have been my absolute favorite. They are easy to get on, and you can tie them tight enough at the top that they stay on (most of the time). I never have to worry about Georgie’s feet being cold because they are filled with the coziest, fluffiest sheepskin. (We got the size 2 – they’re a little big which is ideal because there’s room for her to grow into them.)
Georgie’s Patagonia puffer has been a favorite since it’s light but very warm. We also have a reversible jacket that’s fleece on one side and a shell on the other, and a lighter peach fleece with cute little animal ears Patagonia really makes the cutest, most practical and warm coats for babies – I love them.
P.S. When Georgie was teeny tiny, we would wrap her in a cozy onesie and sweater, pop a cashmere hat on her little head and then I would wear her in the Solly baby and wrap a cashmere blanket and then my coat around her. It kept her nice and toasty, especially as she was getting all of my body heat. Look at this tiny munchkin!!!
