Last week, on October 7th, Georgina turned 8 months old! We celebrated the same way we celebrate all her birthdays – singing Happy Birthday multiple times per day, and smothering her in kisses.
This age is proving to be so fun. Georgie is really getting the hang of crawling, she loves cardboard boxes and tags (toy tags, clothing tags – this girl zeroes in on them, then plays with them, then eats them), she is so chatty and she has a seriously hearty appetite. This past weekend we had brunch with a few friends and I ordered the blueberry pancakes, thinking Georgie would eat about half of one (this was on top of the full pear, teething crackers and handful of banana puffs I had brought for her) and she ate a mini croissant and two and a half pancakes. Adult size pancakes! I was very proud.
I’m so incredibly grateful to be this sweet girl’s mother – she is such a treasure and a joy and I just adore her with my whole heart.
Happy birthday, honey bunch!
