When I was about six months pregnant, Tom and I took a babymoon trip to Nevis, and it was pure bliss! We stayed at the Four Seasons, where we had also stayed for our honeymoon three years prior. We went back and forth about whether we should try something new, but in the end we decided that it would be fun and memorable to revisit a place that we enjoyed so much the first time around.

We flew to Miami, then to St. Kitts, where the resort boat picked us up. The boat ride was about 30 minutes, and it’s such a gorgeous way of arriving on the island – I highly recommend it! (When we went for our honeymoon, we flew to St. Maarten, then took a teeny tiny WinAir plane to Nevis, which I wasn’t so interested in doing with a large baby bump.)

We spent the week laying by the pool, taking dips in the ocean, walking the hotel’s gorgeous grounds and eating way too much food (the spiny lobster roll with fries was a lunchtime favorite). Before heading back to our room at the end of each day, we would pop into the gift shop (love a good hotel gift shop) to stock up on candy and pick out a few DVDs to watch after dinner – a fun little tradition that we had started on our honeymoon.
We can’t wait to get back to Nevis, this time with Georgie girl in tow! I hope she loves it as much as we do.
