We spent Thanksgiving this year in Florida with my family, and it was such a wonderful and memorable one. I’m used to Thanksgiving up north at my parents’ house in Philadelphia, but a tropical Thanksgiving was a delight.
The night before Thanksgiving, we had dinner with family friends in Naples and Georgina had a taste of her very first cheeseburger (as with all foods ever, she loved it). Dinner went until about 7:30 which made me super nervous because Georgie has a pretty steady bedtime of around 6:30pm. She was such a champ, and dozed off without a peep in the car ride home. She woke up when we got back to the hotel, but after getting her into pjs and nursing her, she was snoozing again. I was very proud!
The weather was beautiful for our trip – sunny and 80 degrees every day, which meant soccer games on Thanksgiving Day!
My favorite ever cookies are these m&m cookies that my mom makes. My sister-in-law, who hosted Thanksgiving this year, did SUCH an incredible job and the cookies – along with everything else – were scrumptious.
Georgie’s first Thanksgiving meal!!!!! She wore a turkey hair clip and gobbled up her dinner. Her favorite was the rolls, and the red cheeks are because she had just woken up from her afternoon nap.
These two 🙂
Our hotel had a lovely Christmas tree with tons of wrapped presents underneath, which was prime chewing goodness for Georgie.
Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday!!
