This past Sunday, we ventured out of the city and into some of the Westchester towns along the Hudson River. It was a perfect day – 50 degrees and sunny. We had breakfast here, played at the playground, walked along the river and looked at a few houses (!!).
Georgie loved her eggs and whole wheat toast (a new favorite) and the restaurant even gave her a little toy to play with (not her beloved banana teether pictured, but she enjoyed it nonetheless). I so appreciate the little touches that make a restaurant really family friendly.
I loved all of the beautiful holiday decorations around town. Everything was so traditional and classic and festive.
Hello, beautiful river. A little bit of a different view than we get in Manhattan.
Georgie wore her Magnificent Baby coat (she has the Pink Icing Hooded Fleece Jacket), which has become an absolute fave in our house. It’s so cozy and soft, and has smart close magnetic fastener buttons which are AMAZING when you have a squirmy baby who just wants to crawl and stand up and explore. She is no longer interested in sitting patiently while I button up a coat (or anything else for that matter :)).
