New York was blanketed with a solid two feet of snow over the weekend, and it was delightful. I love when thick snow fallsĀ and the city gets completely quiet. On Saturday afternoon, when the snow was coming down hard and fast, no cars were allowed on the roads so instead of taxis zooming past and traffic piling up, kids were sledding down Park Avenue andĀ dogs were playing in the snow and it was pretty amazing to see.
Georgie was pretty confused with the snow at first. She didn’t know what the cold bits blowing in her face and eyelashes were, but she came around to it yesterday when she got to touch it (slash eat it).
As fun as it was to be outside in the blizzard, it was equally as fun to watch the snow fall from our windows, when we were warm and cozy.
