One of the perks of having our New York apartment on the market was that our lovely broker constantly brought in beautiful plants and flower arrangements for open houses and appointments. She put one in our bathroom this past weekend, and it smells so heavenly I am planning to always have at least one around.
It’s grape hyacinth, and it’s the most deliciously fragrant little plant. Also, apparently a lot of flowers can be poisonous when ingested, which is something to think about if you are like me and have a very curious and determined 14 month old living in your home (or if you have pets!). Luckily these are totally non-toxic, and their purply blue little bulbs are the prettiest.
