On Tuesday morning, Georgie woke up with croup (again!) and panic set in for me. Normally I’m pretty pragmatic about her being sick, because a) she bounces back fast, b) sickness doesn’t effect her a huge amount (i.e. for the most part, she maintains her sweet disposition) and c) I know it’s working to strengthen her tiny immune system. But, since I just went through a week of her being so crazy sick, I started to worry. Luckily, after her treatment at the pediatrician’s office she slowly improved day by day. I had set out clothes for the hospital each night just in case, but I’m so thankful we didn’t need to use them.
This weekend we will be taking it easy so Georgie can get back to being 100% healthy – since the weather forecast is looking pretty cold again, we are going to light some fires and cook some food and wear cozy clothes and relax (so basically this).
Have a wonderful weekend!

This is so crazy genius for nursing moms.
My mom and my dad both had these sneakers when I was growing up, and they wore them all spring. I think it’s time I get myself a pair too!
I have made these muffins four times in a week. There is no flour and no sugar (although I do add dark chocolate chips) and they are so, so yummy.
Did you hear that this cult classic wonderful movie is being made into a Broadway show?? Such good news!

What a cozy looking coat.
