Our sweet little Georgie pie is nine months old!!! It gets more and more fun to be her mama and spend my days watching her grow, and I still often look at her and think, ‘are you really mine?’
It is getting increasingly difficult to take these monthly pics as Georgie wants to crawl everywhere and get into everything. And I mean everything! Sometimes she’s happy to sit and play with her toys, but more often than not she is more interested in crawling under the coffee table or her highchair and peeking around. She also loves pulling up to stand on lower down furniture / large boxes, and has pretty solid balance once she’s up. She’s not in the cruising stage yet, but I think that will be coming very soon. Time to bulk up the shoe collection.
Georgie still loves to eat, and her current favorites include eggy bread, mild cheddar cheese, waffles with peanut butter and strawberries. She wants to get involved with anything we are eating – she just stares at us and lightly licks her lips until we share, hehe. She loves her music class and I’m thinking of signing her up for Gymboree soon too. For some reason she absolutely adores watching us brush out teeth and giggles like crazy when we do it. That and when we make the fishy face are her favorites these days. On our morning walks, we now stop on the way home so she can get out of her stroller and investigate the flower boxes on our block. She loves looking at the different colored flowers and delicately touching them. It’s so incredibly sweet.
One of my most favorite things these days is seeing Georgie’s personality really shine. She is friendly and always smiling at people, she’s goofy, she’s adventurous, she’s independent and she’s strong-willed in the most wonderful way.
